The work delves into the evolving urban landscape of Amsterdam Nieuw-West, with a keen focus on the impact of gentrification, particularly through the lens of architecture. Through a meticulous exploration of forms, architectural typologies, and active construction sites, the project aims to visually document and interpret the dynamic changes within the neighborhood.

The project places emphasis on the visual elements that signify gentrification, such as shifts in architectural styles and the juxtaposition of old and new structures. By honing in on construction sites, the work captures the ongoing transformations, portraying them as symbolic markers of the neighborhood's metamorphosis.

Beyond the visual aesthetics, the project seeks a deeper understanding of the significance of these architectural changes within the broader context of gentrification. It acknowledges that the evolving urban environment is not just a visual spectacle but a complex interplay of social, economic, and cultural factors.
